Dallas has a big, growing tattoo scene, from the walk-in shops of Deep Ellum and Lower Greenville to the custom studios of Oak Cliff, Uptown and the Bishop Arts District. Artists here do everything from bold traditional and black-and-grey realism to fine line, blackwork and large-scale illustrative pieces, and many shops keep a steady flow of regulars alongside visitors drawn in by the city's music, food and arts scenes.
